SEETA Company Profile
SEETA is made up of representation from sectors of the education, training and employment services industry across the South East region of South Australia . This gives SEETA the opportunity to function as a forum for the industry, focus on the economic viability and sustainability of education, training and employment enterprises in the region, represent our members at Regional, State and Federal levels and provide a legal entity for partnerships and joint ventures within the industry.
SEETA is a Target Team of the Limestone Coast Regional Development Board, and representation on the Board ensures that education, training and employment issues are strategically discussed and addressed in the region.
Each year SEETA holds Awards, which highlight best practice, innovation and partnership in the education, training and employment services sectors.
 Objectives
- Develop, define and implement a vision for the education, training and employment services industries of the South East.
- Act to consolidate the regional vision at State and Federal Government level.
- Provide an education, training and employment services dimension to regional industry development for both existing and new industries.
- Provide a regional focus to the development of State and Federal Government education, training and employment services initiatives.
- Provide Limestone Coast Regional Development Board and other regional bodies with expert advice in terms of education, training and employment services initiatives and where appropriate, to act on behalf of the Board.
- Provide a local education, training and employment services structure to meet short-term needs of local industry and community organisations.
